Article 1. – General

1.1. For the purposes of processing personal data, Lacomma complies with the applicable “Act of 8 December 1992 on the Protection of Privacy in relation to the Processing of Personal Data”, as amended by the Act of 11 December 1998 and the anti-spam provisions in Book XII of the Code of Economic Law on the “law of the electronic economy”.

1.2. In addition, Lacomma makes every effort to comply with European Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 with regard to the Processing of Personal Data (General Data Protection Regulation or better known as GDPR).

Article 2 – Personal data

2.1. Personal data which you communicate to us:

  • Category 1, if you do not register: your IP address
  • Category 2: if you register for the newsletter or a webinar: your email address, first name and surname
  • Category 3: via cookies: tracking of how you use the website
  • Category 4: invoice data if one of the products or services of Lacomma is ordered
  • Category 5: personal data if you follow a course provided by Lacomma

2.2. Lacomma can collect data on you (Personal data) in different ways:

  • by using cookies (see below)
  • when you register for the newsletter, request contact, download an e-book, register for a webinar, use the website or order a Lacomma product or service.

Article 3 – Purposes of the processing

3.1. General purposes:

Lacomma shall use the Personal Data collected from you exclusively for the following purposes:

  • Category 1: to attend to and improve this website and to include Personal Data in anonymous statistics, which cannot lead to the discovery of the identity of particular persons or companies, the legal grounds for which are Lacomma’s legitimate interests to make ongoing improvements to its Website and service provision
  • Category 2: to send you direct marketing, newsletters, the legal grounds for which are your explicit, advance consent. This consent can always be withdrawn
  • Category 3: to improve user experience, the legal grounds for which are your explicit, advance consent
  • Categories 4 and 5: to provide and invoice the services you have requested, the legal grounds for which are the provision of a service that you requested

Such consent can be withdrawn, free of charge and without giving any reason and at any point in time by clicking the unsubscribe link provided. Said unsubscribe link is included in every email sent for direct marketing purposes.
